With its face turned to the River Wye, birthplace of tourism in the UK, and its back to the dramatic Royal Forest of Dean, River Wye Lodge could not be better placed for a fantastic self catering holiday in the Forest of Dean or Wye Valley. This country inn conversion provides the space, location and facilities which will ensure you have a truly memorable time.
Indoors there's more than enough space to sleep 26 in 12 bedrooms. 10 of the bedrooms have glorious views of the River Wye.
The cottage has an accessibility ramp to the front door and the ground floor houses a wheelchair friendly twin room with an en-suite wet room.
The kitchen is large and spacious with a servery for the dining room and atmospheric lounge with bar that harks back to the days of this being a country inn.
For families there's a wood-chipped playground to the front of the cottage overlooked by a terrace where you can enjoy the good weather. There's also a hot tub to relax in.
When the weather is less hospitable or you just want a bit of fun, the games room offers pool, table tennis, table football and a cross-trainer!
River Wye Lodge is a pet friendly cottage, but please notify us if you are bringing them, so that we can make sure proper arrangements are made.
