Why Groups Choose Fairlea Grange
When you're organising a celebration for up to 24 people, you need more than a big house - you need a house that brings people together. Fairlea Grange has two connected dining rooms where your whole group sits around one table. Two fully equipped kitchens with an Aga, 9 hobs, and 3 ovens make catering for a crowd straightforward.
Walking distance to Abergavenny's pubs and restaurants means no one needs to drive. The train station is 5 minutes on foot. And with a hot tub, sauna, games room, and garden, there's always something for everyone - from the teenagers to the grandparents.

“Such a quirky large house with rooms all over the place so even as a group you can find space on your own or be together. Well equipped for large groups. Very homely feel to it all.Games room and hot tub great extras. Heating excellent (though scarcely needed). So close to town...only 7 minute walk!. Quiet, safe area. Really nice to be met by Peter in person and shown round. We all loved it for our week, age range of 13 to 77! Only real improvement would be the wifi signal...to more parts of the house. Some editing/updating of handbook might be helpful...”
“We had a lovely time during our recent stay in Wales. We decided not to visit any restaurants, as we chose to cook our own meals instead. Having both Morrisons and Aldi nearby was incredibly convenient and made grocery shopping easy and affordable. This really helped us enjoy home-cooked meals during our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you're planning days out during your stay, I highly recommend Raglan Farm Park – it's a perfect outing, especially if you're travelling with children. There's plenty to keep them entertained, and it's a great way to spend time as a group. For those who enjoy nature and a bit of adventure, the sunset view from Sugar Loaf is absolutely stunning. It's an ideal spot for trekking, offering rewarding views and a peaceful atmosphere at the top.”
“Good venue for a family gathering in a good location: thanks! I'm in the Safari browser and some of this web page is displaying a little strangely so just to confirm that 'yes' we did enjoy our stay and our overall rating is 7 out of 10. (One detail: we suspect there is a problem with the bed base in Room 1 as there seemed to be a bit of a dip in the bed, particularly on the side nearer the window, and we ended up wedging something under the mattress to try to even things up.) Thanks again and best wishes”
“Canoe the Wye near Symonds Yat. The Big Shoot at Ewyas Harold.....we did the Laser Clay Pigeon shooting...for all ages...well organised and very friendly. They do a whole range of activities including axe throwing, archery, clay shooting. Cope well with groups ....and lay on other facilities if required. The Blorenge Circular walk, starting at Keepers Pond car park. Great views of valley and Abergavenny. Not difficult terrain. Just one of the walks on the hills around to look up. The Castle and the Museum....and the Castle Meadows....great for walks or with dogs. Made for All Ages
With space spread across four floors, teenagers can claim the basement lounge while grandparents relax by the woodburner. The garden gives children room to run, the games room keeps everyone entertained when it rains, and when dinner's ready, everyone comes together around one long table.
We welcome children of all ages, plus cots and high chairs are provided for the little ones.
